ENRIQUE GUZMÁN - UNA LÁGRIMA EN LA MEJILLA reloaded


Enrique Guzmán burn in Caracas the february 1, 1943, from mexican father and mother. When he was 12 years old, his family back to Mexico. His first music acts came throught family and School festivities. In 1957, 14 years old, he was practising sport at "Deportivo Chapultepec" (Mexico DF). There, he knew brothers Jesús and Armando Martínez. With them, and with Sergio Martell, they formed "Los Teen Tops", a legendary rock band. Their first EP, at 78 rpm, had La Plaga, and El Rock de la cárcel, Spanish versions of Little Richard Good Golly Miss Molly, and Elvis Jailhouse Rock. In 1961 Guzmán recorded, without Teen Tops from then on, his first LP, including 100 kilos de barro (A Hundred Pounds of Clay), and with Chuck Anderson orchest and chorus.
Now, here geos the Spanish version of "una lacrima sul viso",originally interpreted by Bobby Solo in the "Festival de San Remo" of 1964.
