LOS RELÁMPAGOS - TWIST DE LOS 7 HERMANOS reloaded

During late 50s and early 60s pop music had bands that payed less attention to the voices, increasing the importance of sound possibilities of electric instruments, such as guitar and organ. That is to say: the surf, the raw, and the crude, were born. The instrumental pop-rock music was there. In Spain, the first instrumental rock bands were Los Estudiantes and Los Sonor, sharing scene with Los Relámpagos. They initially were followers of Johnny and the Hurricanes, both in aesthetic and sonority. In 1965 Los Relámpagos had their own style perfectly formed by telling instrumentally both old popular folk-tales and songs, and classic Spanish melodies from Albéniz, Turina, and Granados. This is how their music could be danced by the youth and listen by old people.
