LOS MUSTANG - NO LO VES
In late 1962, five teens boys recorded at EMI Records (Barcelona) two covers: "Quinientas millas", the Peter, Paul & Mary hit, "Madison Twist", by Johnny Hallyday; and two own songs: "He se saber", a ballad, and "No lo ves", a beautiful song writen by José Solá, and later versioned a lot of times (See Clavel y Jazmín in this blog)

LOS MUSTANG - TELSTAR
Telstar 1 satellite
Los Mustang again, now performing "Telstar", by The Tornados (1962). Telstar is the name of various communication satellites, including the first such satellite to relay television signals. The first two Telstar satellites were experimental and nearly identical. Telstar 1 was launched on top of a Thor-Delta rocket on July 10, 1962. It successfully relayed through space the first television pictures, telephone calls, fax images and provided the first live transatlantic television feed.

A new cover by Los Mustang: "La leyenda de Xanadú", a song original from the band called Dave Dee, Dozy, Beacky, Mick and Tich. This song was also performed by another Spanish sixties band: Los Catinos, and in the same year: 1968.

LOS MUSTANG - LA NOVIA DE MI AMIGO reloaded
Los Mustang is a sixties Spanish rock and pop band from Barcelona. Initgially, they were composed by Santi Carulla (voice), Marco Rossi (solist guitart), Miguel Navarro (bass), and Tony Mier on the drums. I noctober 1962, they recorded their first LP for EMI-Odeon, where versioned songs such as 500 milles by Peter, Paul and Mary, Madison twist by Johnny Halliday, and more. Los Mustang sang international hits in Spanish, even before that original came to Spain, as public asked for. In fact, during more than 40 years, Los Mustang only played 16 original songs.
Now, let us listen a performing the hit La novia de un amigo mio, that was listened for the first time at Lima (Perú) in 1964. This song was also performed by Leo Dan as "La enamorada de un amigo mío"
