Kano y Los Bulldogs was a band from Uruguay burn in 1964 under the name of The Epsilons with Nongo (lead guitar), Kano (2nd guitar - voices), Jorge (bass), and Ricardo on the drums. Shortly, they were renamed as Los Bulldogs, and moved to Buenos Aires, where they performed, few hits, such as "Black is black" by Los Bravos (see Guateque in this blog), in 1966. After two Lps, they finally were Kano y Los Bulldogs, reaching the top with "Sobre un vidrio mojado" in 1969. This song was charted again in 1980 by Spanish rock band Los Secretos.
Please, note that many Spanish 80s pop bands covered 60s hits, in spite of their very good music.
Beautiful song, of course.
