Domenech was born in Barcelona (01/01/1938). He studied music and at age 11 he debuted in a children's Radio Barcelona called Siguiendo mi camino (Going My Way). At 14, he already headed zarzuela amateur companies. At 17, working in Radio Nacional de España as music director, and years later in TVE (Spanish TV). Domenech also played piano on the Festival de la Canción delMediterráneo (1963). He recorded several instrumentals, being LPs mostl of them, accompanied by very good musicians. He currently played piano and organ, and the rest, guitar, bass, drums and percussion were played by others friends, who were changing by the years. Alfredo Doménech also arranged for others Spanish bands, such as Santabárbara, Las Hermanas Serrano, Bordón 4, Dyango, Doberman... and covered standards, such as The Beatles (Michelle, Yellow Submarine), "Monday Monday" by The Mamas and The Papas, or pop hits, like "These boots are made for walking" and a version of Bacharach "What's new pussycat".
